The Aline Homzy and Michael Davidson violin and vibes duo premiered at the Niagara International Jazz Festival in 2020. Since then, they have been regularly invited to perform at the Ottawa Chamber Music Festival in collaboration with the Roger Nielson House. These bi-weekly concerts have given them the opportunity to develop their repertoire and present it to youth in palliative care. They have also participated in a music series on Vancouver Island for the Old School House in Qualicum Beach.
In other settings, they have travelled to South Korea, Sweden, Germany, the U.K., the USA and all over Canada performing their original music. They are both highly involved in creating meaningful opportunities for themselves and the larger Toronto musical community with events such as Sound of Davenport, Bitches Brew and Elastic Recordings."
